In African cultures, we often say that a child takes after their name. But we rarely had the explanation that it is the name and the vibration of the name that moves you into action (partly because elders didn't like explaining themselves). 😅 It's almost like a chicken-egg scenario, where it's the prophecy of your purpose for living, that makes you act a certain way and also, your name being sounded, invoking the spirit in you to embody that purpose. Our people have always known science. 😉
