Teachers: if your female students procrastinate every project, race through assignments in class, talk too much, and cannot handle rejection, NOTE IT IN THEIR REPORT CARDS If you write “joy to have in class” and “capable student” every single year, she will have a very hard time getting the ADHD diagnosis she needs as an adult. 🥴

一天內	Diggy deviousdiggy	As a teacher I 100% support this. Also school districts need to start including symptoms in girls as the indicators to look for. It is 2025 and still our trainings and lists of “things to look for” are only patterns primarily seen in ADHD boys. The system is failing the girls because they’re “not as disruptive as the boys.”

2 天內	Kiley Branan kiley_kate18	As someone who was just like this my teachers and parents always ask what they can do to help and met with each other trying to figure out what’s wrong but no one ever brought this up it was always get her a planner or remind her she’s failing now as a college student who is struggling as an adult I’m sure I have ADHD… yet nobody saw it
