My school has a LOW teacher turnover, because the leadership are benevolent, listen to us and care about us as people. They also protect us against unnecessary workload demands as much as possible.

Teaching is not a respected line of work.

Our school actually doesn’t have a high turnover ( I’ve worked here for 3 years and we’ve only had 2 people leave).. we have people come back to the school, but other schools in our district do have a high turnover because of admin and students

Because we wear out at different rates.

I taught at the same school for 33 years. The teacher turnover rate matched who the principal was. Our student population didn’t change. Parental involvement didn’t change.
