Same brooo! , I remember when we were there last time. After dinner, we each grabbed a can and walked around the Parliament building. Teens were chilling by the Danube, some drinking, but everyone just minded their own business. It felt so chill and safe. Time just flew by. I could’ve kept walking forever, but my colleagues wanted to head back—fair enough, since we’d been walking all day.😄

Budapest is generally safe...although be sure where you go at night and who is around you. Regular Hungarians won't trouble you at all, but some people (hobos, gypsies, white trash) might, so just be safe, especially with a camera. But general touristy areas usually all right
