Last night I was more distracted by my 5 year old laughing in church for no reason, during the sermon, but what I did catch our pastor was talking about emptying ourselves and how that can be an uncomfortable thing because we are always searching and asking God to fill us. This is the first year I haven’t known what to give up, sometimes I like to give up and add to. I believe this is deeply personal and you don’t have to share what it is, but are giving up or trying to do more of something?!
