So I saw a patient with pneumonia and was initially giving her 7 days rest but she asked if we can re-assess after a few days and extend as needed. I agreed and gave her 3-5 days rest which would have lasted until tomorrow. However, her TM asked her if she could come in today. She said no, so he required a new medcert since the first was dated March 4 and not today. But my medcert is valid until March 8. So I refused to make a new one, as I don’t see a reason to.
