Agreed. I don't have a problem with character actors - I loooove Ryan Reynolds. And he actually has a drama movie too where he plays a lawyer, was refreshing to see him in a role where he wasn't the Funny Guy. (Even though I love his Funny Guy movies.) But I would never give him an Oscar. Tom Hardy however deserves one!
