My toddler does not always make good decisions; that little prefrontal cortex is still basically a bunch of oatmeal. But I'm really proud of her this morning as she chose a healthy breakfast and was able to help make it. She wanted a banana, eggs with cheese, and milk. So she got to help cut the banana and mix up the eggs for an omelette. It's so fun having a kid at this age where they can voice their opinions, wants, and needs, and then help you make them happen.
