the twelve dancing princesses theme goes so hard. it’s based on respighi’s ancient airs and dances (specifically the theme from the siciliana), and lots of the music comes from mendelssohn. and lest we forget tchaikovsky for barbie of swan lake and in the nutcracker. aside: i actually had some of the barbie movie ost in my repertoire for my live gigs back when i was playing a residency lol. barbie movies have banging soundtracks.
