My grandma came to spend the afternoon with us, and before she left she asked, “why was your helper in the back the whole afternoon? When does she come out to watch the boys?” I replied “I watch the boys. She only watches them occasionally when she has to” Grandma “Okay, but she should watch them more often” I asked why, and she’s silent. Grandma means well but that’s not how I want my children to grow up, raised by nannies. I want to be the person my kids are most securely attached to 🤗
