So - I am worried about an European/Mediterranean cruise next fall and seriously reconsidering the trip. Yes, I’m a democrat in a blue state but am unsure about how much animosity we’ll encounter in other parts of the world. What do you think? Have you been to Europe since the inauguration? I hate what 🤡 🍊 💩 has done to my country and am afraid things will get worse before they get better

Be the lovely person that you probably & not the things that are give-aways that you are from the US (loud, disrespectful, trying to pay in USD, wearing yoga attire 24/7 etc. ) I've been to 3 countries since the inauguration and everything was fine.

But I will admit when people ask where I’m from I say CA. It’s been like that since the first Trump presidency. I feel like once people hear CA they know I’m not a MAGA.

Europeans in general just leave you alone and don’t care where you are from…….they will assume you are not Trump person by the fact that you are traveling. Be kind respectful and don’t expect everything to be just like the US and you will be treated with respect.
