David Rubenstein personally donated $111 million to the Kennedy Center as Chair of the Board—making him the largest individual donor in its history. He’s also been instrumental in fundraising for a Center that depends on private donations (less than 20% of its budget comes from the federal government). So naturally, now that Trump has removed Rubenstein and the board, I assume he’ll be personally cutting some massive checks and dedicating all of his free time to fundraising. Washington DC
