I was so delusional about moving to Africa that I used to tell men on the first date, “I’ll be relocating, so if that’s something you’re interested in, let me know. If not, my dreams won’t change.” At the time, I had no idea how or when it would happen—I just knew I would make it happen. I see why I stayed single now, but it worked… because here I am, living in Africa.
