When the Kalayaan Bridge, aka the BGC-Ortigas Bridge opened, it could have (and should have) become a bridge exclusive to walking, cycling and public transport. Many bridges like this exist, one example is the Tilikum Crossing Bridge in the States - which features no lanes for cars. Many thought that Kalayaan bridge would decongest the other routes. Instead, it's added another source of vehicle congestion and bottlenecks.
