I'm getting pretty close to the point where I just move to the countryside and focus on family, friends, get a pet and have a bunch of hobbies. I actually don't hate online dating, I've met people irl and online. I like that online you can see some of the major deal breakers (politics, religion, sobriety, recreational usage) etc. In general for me I'm not sure if it's 'looking in all the wrong places' or that my expectations as far as communication and empathy are just not realistic

Some of yall are pressed about a post I didn’t think anyone would really see lmao. It’s not like I didn’t get a decent amount of likes or options. It’s about the constant fake conversations that lead no where. Or men lying in general. I’m sure a lot of you can relate. I have met some people from an app that are great. I’m not knocking these apps. Im also very introverted so I thought it might help me find a good partner which I haven’t had any luck thus far.
