I am old so I once made the same mistake the young developers that musk is pushing to update government systems will do. Assume that a Vax and Cobol system are useless because are old. Unlike failures in corporations means losses and “our bad” - in government systems they can lead to death and knowledge is gone with the sited ppl. so when u come to model the new system you won’t be able to map things that ppl aren’t there to tell u they are important and y they are important.
