My biggest flex after having travelled to more than 40 country is, I NEVER ever stayed in an AirBnB. Why? 1) They are the reason so many locals hate tourists as they push rent upwards (just look at Spain!); 2) Absurd cleaning fee. 3) I like to support local boutique hotels, guesthouses & posh hostels instead.
