Totoo. Car-centric kasi talaga yung urban infra natin. Pedestrians have become an afterthought. Makati and BGC mostly have it right, but we could use more. Sa ibang bansa, there are streets that are much friendlier for pedestrians. Objects like bollards or giant pots are used to maintain low vehicle speeds. Sidewalks are reserved for bigger, busier roads, but they are otherwise kept free of obstacles like parked cars or sidewalk vendors.

Baguio is the only city thats walkable anytime of the day. even if you walk for hours, you enjoy the cool breeze of the wind. Ilo-ilo is somewhat walkable but only during evening, its still very hot during the day so you cant walk outside even 30 minutes.
