I just finished reading a book that I quite enjoyed. Thought the main character was deeply flawed but interesting. Turns out, there was a first book, written about the main character as a child. So I'm reading it now. Here's the issue: she's so evil in this first book, sociopathic, repugnant that I'm not clicking, connecting to her. Anyone else ever had this issue when reading a book or watching a movie?
