I’m at an impass… I’m self employed and make in the 6 digits. However, in order to make that kind of money, I work 7 days a week, evenings/ weekends, holidays, etc. I’m never “off the clock”. I’m now pregnant with my second child and am seriously wondering if my work still makes me happy. Priorities have shifted. I just got offered a job (in my field) but rather than being my boss, I’d become an assistant. Job offers between 60K-70K for a 9-5 Monday-Friday in office. What would you do ?

The financial instability. I also am not entitled to maternity leave. I went back to work 17 days after my son was born. But on the other hand, if he gets sick or if we have appointments, I get to stay home without reporting to anyone… that’s where having a 9-5 with 2 kids worries me.
