I lived 38 of my 62 years in Sault Ste. Marie, ON, Canada on the border with Sault Ste. Marie, MI, USA. Crossing the border 100’s of times into the USA, my vehicle & I were subjected to questioning & inspection by US Border Officers. When crossing back into Canada, my vehicle & I were subjected to questioning & inspection by Canadian Border Officers. Same process with air & marine travel. Isn’t it the job of the US Border Officers to stop entry of illegal aliens and drugs into the USA?
