As the eldest, I’ve thought about this a lot. You don’t have to be overly friendly, and that’s okay! For me, Effort should come from both sides. We don’t need to go overboard, but small gestures like acknowledging her presence and showing a bit of interest that can make her feel welcome is enough. 🫶🏽

Sa sis-in-laws ko (brothers gf now wifey) ako una nag-approach! I also make known to them my true nature so alam din nila pano ako pakisamahan. Now kahit malayo ako sa kanila kasi residing abroad ako, malapit sobra ang loob namin sa isa’t isa. Yung isa parang ate ko na din talaga and we can talk about serious matters. I treated them as how I want to be treated. 😊 BTW, only girl ako sa siblings.
