Being a mother is something I’ve dreamed of for as long as I can remember. My mom was an incredible mother and I truly believe I’d do a great job raising a child of my own because I learned from one of the best. I always thought I’d be a mom by now, but life had other plans. While my husband and I still hold hope that our time will come, we’ve also come to understand that if having a child isn’t in our cards, we will still be okay. (I’m 34, by the way.)
