Someone posted that question: "what radicalized you?" and their response: "no, the real question is what desensitized YOU?" And I feel like that's part of what Aaron was trying to point out with his "extreme" form of protest. I put extreme in quotes because even he pointed out that his self-immolation doesn't do the genocide in Gaza justice, and the genocide in Gaza is only one piece of the ongoing madness in this world.
