It’s always interesting when people claim Pilates is how they got “in shape” or “lost weight” when we all know it’s more than just Pilates. It’s your environment. It’s your genetics. It’s your access to nutritious meals and other resources. Especially when so many people are doing HIIT adjacent workouts or other activities and calling it Pilates. Let’s not pretend Pilates is a magic pill. It’s not. This is coming from someone who has been practicing Pilates since 2014, teaches it and loves it!
