A note can only be minor when paired with at least two other notes. It is not possible for something to be “minor” with just one or two notes, because “minor” is a key, or progression of notes otherwise known as a scale, not a note. C# can be a minor note or a major note depending on the scale, or “key”, it is played in. Playing more than two notes in any given scale at once is called a chord. So A minor can be a key, a scale or a chord. But it is most certainly NOT a note.
