The earrings above were made from these 6 beads I made in autumn 2022, when I first started learning about caning polymer clay. They've been sitting in one of the boxes mentally labeled "not good enough" for jewelery. The heck, they are actually great in their wobbly imperfect lines and uneven shapes. Who says it wasn't deliberate. I just grinded them down and sanded to a bit more even surface, otherwise they are exactly as they were.
