I felt like a grilled cheese today. I made bread yesterday and the idea of fresh bread for grilled cheese was glorious. I heated the the cast iron pan and then the dog needed to go out. Put him out, came back, threw the sandwich in the pan... OMG the smoke! I had forgotten to turn the pan down. I have a smokey house with all of the doors and windows open and I'm enjoying a blackened grilled cheese. The dog, however, is starting at me and judging me.
