I’m 40 and still feel like people are watching me 😭😭😭 If it’s a really intense feeling I will repeat. Who’s ever here please leave I feel uncomfortable. It mostly helps me and if my 2yr old has a bad night I will repeat we all need to sleep now is not the time for a visit. And he sleeps 🤷‍♀️

I really needed this. My 10 year old is the same. He doesn’t like to be left alone at night in my house. When he showers he needs either me or his big brother to sit outside the toilet. And I always getting mad at him. I yell out to him “Why are you so weak? Come on, you’re 10 now, please be brave, there’s no such thing as ghosts!” Now after reading your post and your comments I feel so guilty. As a full time working single mom, I have so much chores to do… I feel like I have no time for (1/2)

I was like this as a kid bc my parents watched scary stuff in front of me lol

This was also a fear I had as a kid. I remember it well. We didn’t have any windows in the bathrooms or anything. So I would bring my dog in the bathroom with me to protect me ☺️

I read this and immediately remembered having the same fear as a kid! No idea where it comes from but same for me.

Dont think its literally someone outside the window, it sounds more like general anxiety around being vulnerable, why do they feel unsafe in the shower? Nudity? No shield or safety/clothes. Might be totally natural, or fear of some loss of control. Or it could be actual trauma
