Anyone know of any homeless shelters in the Denver metro where I can actually be treated like a human being? I’m currently at the men’s 48th shelter and was told that I can’t have my blanket over my head while I’m sleeping. There’s no formal rules about it and hasn’t been a thing any time I’ve been here. They have bright lights on all day and night and mind you I’m Autistic and have to have darkness to get actual rest.
