I work in a restaurant in Singapore. I especially love it when you tell me "can you lower down the music? We want to have a discussion". Sure, if you do a buyout I'd be happy to lower the music. But no, it is the concept of the restaurant to play loud rock music. Maybe have your "discussion" in idk, an office?? Oh, aircon is too cold you say? Increase the temperature? So do you go to ION Orchard, look for the concierge and say "can you increase the temperature? I'm cold"??!!! 💀

6 天內	Deb liquidcold	Used to work at a cafe near some offices. They would come in during peak hours, order a measly pastry and 10 glasses of tap water (at no cost), then proceed to ask me to tell the other customers to lower their volume. I blinked and told them if the noise of other patrons bothered them, they were free to go back to their office to have their damn meeting. Or they could go around each table to explain why they needed the customers to be quiet cos I sure as hell ain't gonna be the one to do that!
