Calorie deficit is not a trend of diet 😅 it’s a term used when what you burn (calories) in a day is more than what you consume. Also can be you consume less than you burn.
It’s a term for thermodynamics of the body 🤌🏻 not a ‘trend’ 😌
Energy gets used when body demands them. Energy that are not used get stored as glycogen and fat. Energy (calories) always get transformed from something to something.
So please use ‘calorie deficit’ word correctly in your statement 🙃
