My 17yo son still tells ne he loves me. Texts ne when he's sleeping over with his grandparents to say "night mama". Asks me to chaperone every school dance, and trusts me enough to be his authentic self and know he's safe with me. It's a big deal. And I am so grateful for his love and his trust. That's all.
