Watching them freeze up in confusion in classroom sometimes. Example in multiplication, it’s not just “multiply” or “times” — they also need to recognise words like “lots of,” “groups of,” “double,” “triple,” and “product.” The same goes for other operations, different terms can completely throw them off! 🥲
