Why have I been seeing more and more of “the Bible is meant for acceptance, not understanding”??? I get the sentiment, but it’s wildly inaccurate. The Bible itself tells us to study it. You don’t just study something to accept it, but to understand it. Sure, if there’s something in the Bible (which there is) that just simply has to be accepted, then so be it, but to say it’s not meant for understanding is wildly inaccurate. Please stop spreading that.
