Today on the way home my kid and I heard a girl singing on the street. She sounded like an angel, it somehow felt to be more than the usual street musicians doing their thing. My 9 year old gathered the courage to put some money into her guitar case. All the while I was moved to tears by her singing and I didn't even understand the language. I was a bit embarrassed so we quickly moved on, but I know this was a soul to soul encounter, no matter how brief.
