I’m also looking for a job in Europe, Germany to be specific, and after sending CVs and cover letters personally via email, most of them remain silent… Job field is developmental therapy/school counseling and also ECE, I’m licensed and experienced psychologist… I don’t speak German, but applying mostly to international or bilingual settings… meh 🫤 😑

Go for a multinational job. I speak 4 languages fluently yet never have I had a job speaking my mother tongue (Dutch). I feel great about this.

I got my first job in Belgium as Sales Assistant after more than 400 applications, i have no experience but a Master's degree in Marketing (in which the job market is so competitive), A2 Dutch & French. So I could say, don't give up. You will find a job sooner or later. Reach out to more Job Center, HR from International Companies, interview practice. Some day they will see your values. 😊

Don’t get disappointed. Success rate of job application is pretty low. You probably should target around 60 applications to get 4 interviews and 1 successful deal

I feel you girl! I’ve been here in Belgium for 3 years and it’s been really tough.. I either get rejected or unqualified after an interview because I’m not “fluent” in Dutch or even French. All the years of experience internationally seems nothing if you are not fluent in the local language. 😔 But still keep on pushing, we’d get lucky one day! 🙏🏻🩷

I would go for the cleaning job and start a small business with some other ladies.. corporate world is tempting but I feel Belguim is more a country for business and it’s financially more interesting.. 🤗
