Franck’s sonata for violin and piano in G major is many people’s favorites. Vengerov’s interpretation is a bit warmer than Repin’s and Yu-Chien Tseng’s. Prokofiev is utterly difficult, yet intense. What a delightful recital with Osetinskaya!
