'recruiters' are the true cancer of the job market and people's disdain towards them is fully justified. This one goes far by claiming that the question about salary is a bad one. Another HR diversity hire knowing nothing about the company or the business, inventing stupid questions insulting professional employees.

Sometimes, it’s the other way round, I asked some of those questions and did not get the job, simply because the hiring manager thought I was their job, that I was too confident and could actually do the job better then he or she so I am on the fence with your comments 🤷🏻‍♀️

The question you example are being a business mindset, and your hiring an employee. Maybe change the job listing that look more on the business mindset. What you expect, they ask the employee question because that what are you looking for.

I’ve asked multiple questions such as these had a stellar resume, outstanding recommendations and was ghosted by a company, was constantly put thru multiple interviews this is draining and ridiculous-when you see a good person who just wants to work hire them. Stop making ppl go through all these levels and jump thru hoops.

As an employee: No salary range disclosed during interview is a instant red flag Basically means the company is planning to treat you like a slave and expect you to take unpaid overtime. So RUN. Run for your life. And yes I have got offers from 9/10 jobs that I have interviews with.

Inquiring about the salary/ rate of pay is not a disqualifier...wasting time with 2nd and 3rd interviews only to find out the pay is shit is a major issue. Don't waste my fucking time.

How does one finish the interview / after asking some chosen questions.. when most times the company will end with "we'll call you" As if it is only them making the decision. A second question is: when you know from their answers that this isnt the right fit, what do you say? A third is: what if you just need to pay the bills and will literally take anything? How does your energy not come off as desperate,, or is that impossible when your already going into it from a place of scarcity/lack
