So I'm a government contractor but I haven't heard anything from above about our employment status and everyday I'm grateful about that. However I work alongside federal workers all the time and they're always telling me stories about the concerns they're worried about or about people they know losing their jobs. The current policies probably affect someone closer to you than you think and I don't think there's any excuse anyone can give to support the treatment of these people.
