Step 1 to empowering yourself is to take accountability for your own actions and feelings. Digging deep within yourself to understand what the trigger was, why it impacted you the way it did, and what it ties back to. Allowing us to set better boundaries for ourselves & honor what we need to live a happy life. I’d also like to say that this doesn’t apply to situations of abuse + trauma where there IS a clear abuser/victim — BUT it can apply to the processing/healing we do afterwards. ⬇️
