The Bible is different than other books she’s read. It’s not clearly fiction or non-fiction. It’s an ancient group of people’s writings about how they experience God. Some of it is good (like loving your neighbors). Some of it isn’t (like killing off whole people groups). As is typical for her age, she wasn’t super interested in her dad’s perspective :) But she listened, and knows I want to hear her ideas as she reads more. Especially the more fantastical stories from Genesis/Exodus.
