It's the 4th of these I've received in 2 months and my name isn't even on it. I haven't had a TV or watched TV since 2008 but they're now trying to get people to subscribe if they have a functioning broadcast receiver (computer,tablet). NHK can fuck off. I'm not paying to NOT watch TV, especially one that covered the actions of the worst pedophile in Japan (Johnny Kitagawa). JapanThreads

7 小時內	Ken ken_keioippo	Right. You should and can ignore it if you don't have the receiver(s). That postal mail is just an attempt to pressure you into signing a contract. The envelope says, "This is the postal mail that simply describes your mailing address." Very weird technique.

People tried to avoid it by claiming they did not own a TV or radio, so the law was changed to require payment from every household with an electricity connection. It's great that Japan does not follow the same approach.
