What is “home elsewhere?” Never heard of it

I spent almost 15 years in Portland and I came back to the Bay almost 2 years ago. So far nowhere else really makes sense to me, I crave the diversity and all the possibilities here and I finally feel like I am home now. If I hadn't gotten divorced I would never have come back. So glad I did.

My family lived in Cow Hollow for 42 yrs until last March 9th when my aunt passed. We had to sell the house that she and my uncle had lived in and it was the most heartbreaking thing for me. I’d been going there since I was 5. I miss them and I miss the house I knew my entire life. Cow Hollow was a great place and I’m grateful for the time there. Santa Rosa was also great and I loved living there when my grandma was alive.

I’ve lived ALL over the country and I’m native to San Diego County by the beach. I’m that oddball who says you will never get me out of the central Valley. Affordable, unpretentious, with easy access to all of California’s exciting magic.

I was born and raised in the city. I've traveled all over the world and lived across the country. NorCal is home and we are the best.

feel this in my bones. zero desire to go anywhere else.

Less than 3 hours away from almost any outdoor activity... Year-round mostly decent weather.... Amazing natural beauty and diverse cultural experiences. I'm a proud East Bay gal! Moved away for a while, but am so glad I'm back!

I spent 20 years on Maui and now I’m in the Bay and I gotta say I absolutely am in love with both places!!! HOW MANY OF THE MOST EXPENSIVE ZIP CODES CAN I LIVE IN!?! LOL

My Alameda born and raised mother also managed to find a nice urban environment near a lot of trees when living in NYC and DC. That’s the only way it worked.
