I work in a restaurant in Singapore. I really want a new job in a different sector. I am looking at being a lecturer in hospitality/ F&B as that is where my strengths lie. However, as these opportunities are scarce, especially for foreigners, I am looking into applying for a HR role first as I do have transferable skills, with people management being one of the core skills. I believe that having experience in HR will broaden the subjects that I will be able to teach in future too. Sadly, 1/2
