I think I’m the only person who believes drum work is probably the most vital part of your beat. Anyone can take samples and flip them, and it does take a level of skill to play your own melodies. But the heart and soul is the drum work for me. Producers who heavily use drum loops aren’t producers to me, imo. Producer Threads
