The men who have joined in this conversation saying that man taught his son perfect advice are the same men that will say “I never put my hands on her or called her out her name, but she wants a divorce!” Umm….darling that’s the bare minimum. What she wanted was empathy, healthier conflict resolution, support and help without having to ask, you to be an involved parent, romance, etc.
