Also I find it high key weird as fuck how, like white people for some reason seem to have more authority when it comes to their hip-hop takes than Asian people. I shouldn't have to prove my hip-hop knowledge to people who know less than me for my takes be validated among people who don't respect my ethnic background. Hip-hop is and always has been a voice for the voiceless, and like every other racial minority in the world, we've had our voices taken away as well.
