What I love about Ramadan is that every night all our surrounding neighbors send their maids to deliver leftovers, even yummy desserts. Our fridge has never been so full. They leave out families that don’t do the same, but we sent some to the old guy down the street because his wife left him and he can’t cook. If we have leftovers we also package them and leave them in the street fridge for the poor, there’s one outside every few houses, along with a water dispenser.
