Because AI art is more mesmerizing to look at, and the most mesmerizing visuals tend to go the most viral since people can't look away from them

Because they get engagement, I think. Most people are too stupid (the nicer way of saying it is far from art but it's enraging, so I said what I said) too tell it's AI. Or don't understand how unethical lack of AI acknowledgement is. They would look, like and comment positively. Many don't even understand the difference between AI and digital art.

I think a lot of it comes down to frequency and consistency with posting, tbh. I notice a lot of artists who mention struggling with traction post pretty infrequently, and a lot of the gen AI accounts people mention as examples of how well AI does post dailyish. When the pieces are traditional I also notice a lot of artists struggle with image quality—photos either aren’t taken well or they “flatten” a lot of the interesting things about the pieces.

Iv been on threads since day one ,we built an inclusive supportive community here . We support and encourage each other. We do daily themes and challenges because we can. We like and engage and share each others work. We share tips and tricks to make our work better. Basically we are an actual community. Love us or hate us we are here to stay.
